Steven Frame grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and Annapolis, Md. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. and earned a degree in photography in 1973 with a minor in art history. He later continued his education at the University of Maryland, College Park, and at the University of West Florida, Pensacola, where he received a Master of Arts degree in Communication Arts in 1991. Steven worked as a freelance photographer for the St. Petersburg Times for several years and has had numerous images published in national newspapers and magazines including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Marcia Frame was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Like Steven, she attended Florida State University and graduated in 1973. She received a Master of Science in Teaching Biology in 1988 and a Master of Science in Biology in 2002, both from the University of West Florida.  Her thesis research involved analyzing signature whistles of Stenella attenuata, pantropical spotted dolphins. Marcia is the studio's chief videographer and has captured hundreds of weddings along Florida's Gulf Coast.

Steven and Marcia have three grown children, Jeff , Scott & Laura, who are in the photo below. Jeff, who is married to Kristin (far right) had their first child, Caleb on  July 11, 2007. He and mother are pictured below. Scott & Jill ( far left in group photo) live in Crestview with their two dogs. Laura's wedding to Scott Valade in the Florida Keys is pictured below. Our family has a tradition of vacationing in the Keys, spending time together and scuba diving on the coral reefs. Steven photographed her wedding, although this photo (with Steven in it) was taken by Reverend Mike Rollwagen, who officiated the event.
